Cu13X molecular sieve are mainly used for desulfurization of aviation kerosene and liquid hydrocarbons, which can effectively remove organic sulfur from oil and gas. Especialy, it can remove mercaptan, which can produce odor and nausea. As mercaptan is an oxidant, it can oxidize unstable substances in fuel and superimpose to adhesive substances. In addition, mercaptan can corrode oil storage equipment and poison of many catalysts. After mercaptan removal, not only the odor of oil can be removed, but also its stability can be improved.
